I think the WIFI + app would be more universal now.
The main thing is the PRICE. As you know there has been a fair amount of criticism that the current unit costs to much vs other means of doing the same thing (especially if you brew 10 gal batches). However if you added the computer interface capability to control fermentation profiles that I mentioned without raising the price I think that the unit would then have enough features to bring more customers on board. The only off the shelf programmable profile temp controller that I found was the BrewBit (kickstarter $189.00 does not incl the cooling system). However if you start adding a lot more cost to the brewjacket unit I do not think customers will see this as much of an advantage.
My analysis (for what its worth):
New small 7.2 cu ft chest freezer (handles two carboys -> 10 gal ): less than $200
BrewBit programmable controller: $189.00
If I were going to add this feature to the brewjacket I do not think it would be justifiable if your retail cost was not below the $389.00 figure as above. In this case believe the brewjacket size vs chest freezer would not be enough advantage to to win over more customers in comparing the two systems if their cost were similar. The programmable brewjacket would need to not increase much the current price if at all. Maybe you could make up some of your expenses by optionally selling the programmable head unit to your current customers etc.
